I Love My Job, But.....

As some of you know I took care of my first fetal demise about 6 weeks ago. In the last couple of weeks I have taken care of a couple of mothers that have had late 1st trimester miscarriages. It just hurts my heart to see my patient in the emotional pain and I really cannot do anything but talk it through with them or cry with them (and it is usually the latter).

I just wish that I could fix their emotional hurt as easily as I can fix some their physical pain.

Update on Me

Just a quick update on what I have been doing. I took the intermediate fetal monitoring class for work. I passed which is a good thing. I had some moments in class when I did not think I was going to pass.

My Nutrition class is going ok. I really not all that impressed with my class as a whole. The Computer grading is a pain in my rear.

All in all every things is going well. I am as busy as ever. Next semester it looks like I will be teaching 3 days a week.

Being a Soccer Mom

Landon is one of the best players on this team, he is doing a good job.

Busy, Busy and BUSIER

For those of you who have been keeping up with my family blog know that nothing new has been posted in the last month or so.

The kids started school. Soccer started. I started teaching again on Aug 28. 

I have 16 student in my nutrition class and 13 are high school students. They are in a program that is paid for by the county so that they can get college credits while in high school.

So watch for more to come.

1st Day of School in Winslow, AZ

Landon is in Mrs. Milligan's 4th grade class. About his first day of school Landon says "it was fun and long". He already likes her because she only make him read one chapter.

So tomorrow is the last day of my CNA class. I am really glad to be done. Landon, Gideon, and Wyatt start school on Aug 10, we sure don't have much time until they start. We meet there teachers on Friday, the kid are excited about that.
